The meeting was called to order at 9:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Borner and Berry were present.

The minutes from the October 10th and October 16, 2017 meetings were reviewed and approved by all Commissioners.

Road Secretary Kenner gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert attended the 32nd Annual North Central Regional Local Road Conference. Mowing began on Melstone-Custer, blading on Ragged Cr., Fishel, E Parrot, Big Wal, N Gage.

Accounting Supervisor Angel met with the Commissioners regarding a personnel issue.

DES Coordinator Carlson met with the Commissioners via telephone. We are going to put “amending bids for the generators” on next Mondays agenda.

Mark Qualman with Quest Service Corp, Mayor Jones and Superintendent Sealey met with the Commissioners. Mr. Qualman told the Commissioners that the EOC (emergency operations center) stabilization is going smoothly and on schedule. We will be using Montana Prevailing Wages for labor done at the Musselshell County Central Commons. The steel is in for the Sheriff’s Office parapet project. Mayor Jones asked that the City Council see the most updated plans for the Musselshell County Central Commons. Mr. Sealey said that the Contractor will be taking the boiler pipe out of the old school. Chad asked that the Commissioners help with the cost of the asbestos abatement. The Commissioners told him it will be on the 3:00 business agenda and will be voted on to pay $3,500.00. Mr. Sealey said that they are working on putting an RFP (request for proposal) for the Sandstone Building. Part 1 will be to take over the building and do something with it and Part 2 will be salvage and demo. The next School Board Meeting will be November 13, 2017 and they will be ready to sigh the Purchase Agreement and Warranty Deed for the Central School.

Item #2 to decide on the Generator and Transfer Switch bids was tabled until we get a bid to include the installation.Commissioner Berry made the motion to approve purchasing the updated Color Cameras-High Definition and HD Over Coax for $1,375.00, installation for $1,372.50 with audio for $150.00 and one additional camera for $320.00. Commissioner Borner seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Commissioner Borner made the motion to Appoint Joanie Rettig to the Musselshell Cemetery Board. Commissioner Berry seconded the motion. Motion carried.
