Musselshell County is currently accepting applications for the position of Court Compliance Officer. Applications for this position can be obtained at the Musselshell County Clerk and Recorders Office, located at 506 Main Street in Roundup, and will be accepted until the 25th day of October 2024 at the Musselshell County Sheriff’s Office located at 820 Main Street, also in Roundup. The Court Compliance Officer works closely with the Justice of the Peace and Sheriff’s Office, overseeing numerous court ordered sanctions and conditions of release, including, but not limited to: Overseeing and facilitating Community Service for youth and adult offenders, overseeing house arrest and monitoring Alcohol and GPS units electronically, administers and handling the drug testing program, presenting and teaching numerous Court ordered classes including MIP alcohol and tobacco, criminal thinking errors, and defensive driving. The perfect candidate for this position should possess a High School diploma, be at least 18 years of age, be of good moral and ethical character, be able to pass a background investigation and handle confidential material, have strong organizational and communication skills, and be able to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturday shifts. Prior Law Enforcement/Corrections experience is preferred, but not required.
