“COUNTY ATTORNEY: The Musselshell County Commissioners are seeking a full-time County Attorney. Position is a joint-elected position between Golden Valley and Musselshell County. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in the State of Montana and have at least 3 years’ experience. Successful applicant will start as a deputy Musselshell county attorney upon hire, and will be appointed as the Golden Valley/Musselshell County Attorney as of January 1, 2025. Successful applicant will transition into the job over several months with the current vacating County Attorney. Salary is set at 80% of the District Court Judge, with applicable benefits. The successful applicant will undertake all statutory duties of the County Attorney, with the assistance of a part-time deputy.
