Permissive Levies Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 2-9-212, M.C.A., that the Board of Commissioners’ of Musselshell County, Montana, will hold a public hearing to receive comments from the public on the Board’s intention to levy for the 2019-2020 fiscal year permissive medical levy and permissive sheriff retirement levy. The permissive medical levy is used to pay for premium contributions for the group health insurance program for county employees and is not subject to the statutory limitations on increases in county mill levies.

The public hearings will commence on the 16thth day of September, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., in the Commissioners’ Chambers on the main floor of the courthouse, 506 Main Street, Roundup, MT.

Any member of the public may appear and will be heard concerning the Board’s intention to levy for the 2019-2020 fiscal year permissive levies.
