The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Turley. Commissioner Pancratz and Commissioner Goffena were present.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the days agenda as is. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to approve the minutes from the April 7, 2023 Commissioner meeting as written. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried.
The Commissioner board meetings held during the week were the LEPC meeting attended by Commissioner Pancratz. Commissioner Goffena attended the Watershed meeting and all three Commissioners attended the meeting held at Dean Creek Fire Hall regarding concerns around the Dean Creek area. All three Commissioner will be attending the Farm Bill meeting today at noon which is being held at the Back Porch.
County Extension Agent Solf gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. Ms. Solf has been busy organizing the spring workshops series which will be starting this coming Monday. The Extension Department has already sold all of the seed potatoes this year. There will be a hog barn rebuild project going on at the Fairgrounds on April 22, 2023 and they are needing volunteers.
Sheriff Lesnik gave with weekly report to the Commissioners. The Sheriff Department has received the $20,150 NRA grant check. Sheriff Lesnik reported that his department will be purchasing body plates for all the Deputies with money from the Drug Forfeit fund. There will be interviews on April 20, 2023 for hiring a new dispatcher.
DES Direct/Fire Warden Russell and Rural Addressing Coordinator Gomez met with Commissioners and gave their weekly report. The Musselshell River is well below the flood plan, but they will be monitoring it. There was a 22-acre wild land fire this week which was starting by a person burning without a burn permit in high winds. The RFC Grant should be coming soon. We have received a couple new AED units and will be receiving more soon. CFO Kirk joined meeting and discussed budgets.
Treasurer Hetrick met with Commissioners and discussed the County’s monthly and quarterly Treasurer reports.
Ambulance Supervisor Solberg and EMT Vivirito met with Commissioners and gave their weekly report. Internet security and vulnerability awareness prices and trainings were discussed.
CFO Kirk and Treasurer Hetrick met with Commissioners and discussed audits and budgets.
Commissioner Turley opened the 2:30 public comment on several budget amendments. There were no public comments regarding the budget amendments, therefore Commissioner Turley closed public comment.
Commissioner Turley opened the 3:00 business meeting. Dave Shreeve, Wendy Shreeve, Richard Durgin, Monty Sealey and Michael Jacko were present.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to review and sign the Managed Service Renewal with Systems Technology Consultants. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to sign the Budget Amendment and sign Resolution #2023-24 approving said Budget Amendment. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve and sign Encroachment Application and Permit submitted by Dave MacArthur on Johnny’s Coal Road, which has been reviewed and approved by Road Supervisor Stockert. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried.
There being no other business on today’s agenda, Commissioner Turley opened public comment.
Monty Sealy from the Central Montana Regional Water Authority reported that the board unanimously voted to go around Roundup Mesa Subdivision to the South, which will then put the Subdivision at the back of the line again for the possibility of receiving the water line.
Richard Durgin thanked the Commissioners for chip sealing #4 Road, but also reported that it is coming up in spots.
Michael Jacko asked for any updates regarding a decay ordinance in Musselshell County. The Commissioners will discuss with County Attorney next week.
There being no other public comment, Commissioner Goffena made a motion to adjourn. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried.
