The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Goffena.  Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Pancratz were present.

Tyler Lindbloom from Interstate Engineering and Jay Steinmasel from Knife River were present.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the agenda as is.  Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the minutes from May 14, 2021 as is.  Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Mr. Lindbloom gave an update of the work being done at the Roundup Airport. The only things to be done are the PAPI’s.   The electricians said the West end PAPI’s, all bulbs are burned out and seem like they have been for a while.  The East end has 2 bulbs burned out.  The bulbs are being shipped and will be installed once received.  The permanent striping was shut down on Friday due to high winds, the remaining will be done on Tuesday.  The Final Inspection will be Tuesday May 25, 2021 at 9:00

The Commissioners, Chief Financial Officer Kirk and Clerk & Recorder Tomassi met with several Department heads to go over their Preliminary budgets.

May 24 Road Department Meeting

Commissioner Goffena and Commissioner Turley were present.

Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert and Secretary Kenner gave their weekly report to the Commissioners. The West District gravel location may not happen because of a resident that won’t sign.  The service truck welder is not repairable so they are going to have to get a new one. They Commissioner need to ask DES if they are doing the fire extinguisher inspections and paper work at the hospital monthly.  The road crew has been re-certified on flagging, they are blading on Hougardy, Old Musselshell, Four Mile, Ragged Point, Alec Roy, delineators and signs addressed on #4, East & West Parrot.

The Commissioners, Clerk & Recorder Tomassi, and Finance Manager Kirk met with Victim Witness Advocate Allen and County Attorney Peterson to review the Victim Witness budget.
