The meeting was called to order at 9:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Borner and
Berry were present.
The minutes from the April 17, 2017 meeting were reviewed and approved by all Commissioners.
Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert and Secretary Kenner gave their weekly report to the Commissioners. Ms. Kenner had a Small Miners Exclusion Statement for the Commissioners to sign. If the Road Department still wants to go to the Coal Board for funds to rent the asphalt zipper they need to get the application in to Kathie Bailey at Snowy Mountain Development as soon as possible.
Sheriff Thomas and Under Sheriff Lesnik gave their weekly report to the Commissioners. Mr. Lesnik would like to send a letter to the Roundup City Council regarding updating the Interlocal Agreement for Law Enforcement Services. ( a letter was sent to make an appointment to enter into negotiations) The Commissioners signed a new credit card application to replace the old credit card. Amy Angel from accounting and County Attorney Peterson joined the meeting in regards to a personnel issue.
Mark Johnson with Resource Technologies- A contractor for DEQ (Department of Environmental Quality) met with the Commissioners for them to sign a Consent for Access to a property owned by the County.
Bart Skinner with Family Heritage met with the Commissioners. Family Heritage is an additional( Intensive Care, Cancer Care and Cardiac Care) benefit plan and they would like to see if the County employees would be interested in purchasing it. Brochures will be given to all employees.
Jeremy Fadness and Greg Reid with WWC Engineering met with the Commissioners. They gave the Commissioners a report on Planning Services for Musselshell County a Proposed Amendment for the Planning Department Fee Schedule for Subdivision Review a Survey Review Checklist and Survey Application for the Commissioners to review. A decision to hire
WWC Engineering for County Planning and Subdivision Administration will be made at today’s 3:00 business.

Commissioner Borner made the motion to approve and sign the letter to First Security Bank for the Musselshell County Sheriff’s Department to apply for a credit card. Commissioner Berry seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Berry made the motion to sign the Service Provider Designation Form for the Designation of Musselshell County Earmarked Alcohol Tax Money submitted by the Department of Public Health and Human Services. Commissioner Borner seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Borner made the motion to approve and sign the Order to Cancel Uncollected Property Taxes and Personal Property Taxes. Commissioner Berry seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Berry made the motion to hire WWC Engineering for Planning and Subdivision Reviews. Commissioner Borner seconded the motion. Discussion- the Commissioners want guidelines of service and a contract to sign. Motion carried.
DES Coordinator Carlson gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. Mr. Carlson went with the FEMA Region 8 Historical, Agricultural and Environmental Specialist Marty Thompson today to review 12 of the properties that will qualify in the Pre Disaster Mitigation Grant Program.
