December 4, 2017

The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Borner and Berry were absent due to MACo Elected Official Training.

The Minutes from the November 27, 2017 meeting were reviewed and approved by Commissioner Goffena but will not be posted until reviewed by Commissioner Borner and Berry.

Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert met with Commissioner Goffena just to check in. Mr. Stockert thanked Commissioner Goffena for the gift cards that were given to all County Employees. Mr. Stockert said they are working on getting roads bladed before weather turns bad.

DES Coordinator Carlson gave his weekly report to Commissioner Goffena. There is a Flood Plain Permit from the Highway Department for the Melstone bridge of the Musselshell River on Hwy 12 East. Mr. Carlson will return at 3:00 for the Public Hearing on the Acquisition Policy.

Mark Qualman from Quest Service Corp., Brian Johnson and Jason Fitzgerald from Collaborative Design and Kathy Pfister met with Commissioner Goffena. Parking at the Musselshell County Central Commons was discussed. Mr. Johnson said that there are 43 off street parking sites which is adequate. Mr. Qualman is taking the new Conditional Use Permit to the Roundup City Council. Commissioner Goffena signed the Contract from Cucancic Construction and it will be returned to Musselshell County once it is signed by Cucancic.

Public Comment:

Gary Robson would like Goulding Creek Road bladed. Commissioner Goffena said he will let Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert know.

Public Hearing for the Acquisition Policy:

Adam Carlson was the only one present and said that it is a great policy.

Public Hearing was closed at 3:17.

Item #2 to vote on the Acquisition Policy was tabled because there was only one Commissioner present.

Commissioner Goffena opened the 1 and only bid for Appraisal Services for the Mitigation Grant Programs. Bart Appraisal Service for a total of $26,000.00. The bid was taken under advisement.

Commissioner Goffena approved and signed the Encroachment Permit for an approach in Section 20, T-6-N, R-24-E on Dean Creek Road submitted by Wendy Cutter-Collins after Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert told him he had checked it out and approved it.

There being no further business the motion was made to adjourn. Motion carried
