The meeting was called to order at 9:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Borner and Berry were present.

The minutes from the August 20th and 27th, 2018 minutes were not reviewed by the Commissioners.

Road Secretary Kenner gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. Ms. Kenner has finalized the “silent auction to go into the paper. They are waiting on an answer from the Coal Board to finalize the invitation to bid on a used motor grader. Once they have talked to the County Attorney regarding the proper procedure for the purchase of an easement they will be moving forward with re-routing #4 Road. There will be an article in the paper and on the County website forewarning residents that winter is coming and that the Road Department has a snow plowing policy and they are going to stick to the policy with no exceptions in order to keep with the 2019 budget and that there is a snow removal priority list, 1. School bus routes. 2. Heavy residential traffic. 3. Remaining county roads.

Sheriff Thomas gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. Mr. Thomas asked about vehicle claims. The Commissioners told him claims have been turned in and he needs to talk with accounting.

DES Coordinator Russell gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. Musselshell County was denied the first round of the emergency Presidential Declaration due to the dates of the flooding here.  They are working on a second round. Burning is closed and they may rescind the Stage 1 Fire Restriction.

Accounting Supervisor Angel and Roger Schaad from Montana Made Projects met with the Commissioners. Mr. Schaad was given a list of hail repairs that need done on County owned property.  Preliminary budgets were discussed.  Servpro will be sub-contracting out for the repairs to the Judge’s chambers to be done from September 10 to the 25. The County Agent would like the old DES vehicle that was totaled in the hail storm the Commissioners were fine with that.

Item #1 to decide on which window Company we are going to use for hail damaged windows in the Courthouse was tabled to gather more information and until we hear from Hartford.

Commissioner Borner made the motion to sign Resolution 2018-15 Adopting the Musselshell County Subdivision Regulations. Commissioner Berry seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Commissioner Berry made the motion to approve the Cutters Corner preliminary plat. Commissioner Borner seconded the motion. Motion carried.
