The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Turley was present. Commissioner Pancratz will be in after 10:00 A.M.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the agenda as is. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the April 8, 2022 minutes as written. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena went to a Zerker training at the Sheriff’s Office but the training was cancelled due to a vehicle accident.
Doug Medina met with the Commissioners to discuss a petition for the sale of medical marijuana.
Adair Rademacher, John Albert and Randy Love with the Musselshell County Community Water and Sewer District and Stacy Cooke met with the Commissioners to discuss the next project for the District. There are flush valves needed and they will meet again with the Commissioners with dollar amounts.
John Albert gave the Commissioners an estimate on a shed to house the mower for the Musselshell Cemetery and Handel Park.
Sheriff Lesnik gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. There will be a Public Meeting on Monday May 9, 2022 at the Musselshell County Commons to discuss the Interoffice Agreement with the City of Roundup and the Sheriff’s Office. The pigs should be out of the fairgrounds by Saturday the 16th. Sheriff Lesnik will try to be down there to fix the damage done by the pigs on Monday, April 18, 2022.
DES Director Russell and Coordinator Rook gave their weekly report to the Commissioners. The RFC Grant (rural fire capacity) closes next week and the new grant needs to be in by May 15, 2022. There were 2 new addresses assigned this week. Mr. Russell will be going to The Signal Peak Community Foundation for funds for a UTV. The Commissioners agreed to fund the command trailer since the funds were not provided by the Homeland Security Grant. There are 0 active COVID cases in Musselshell County at this time.
CFO Kirk met with the Commissioner to let them know there will be a resolution for a budget amendment on the 3:00 business April 29, 2022. There will be Public Comment time at 2:30 April 22 and 29, 2022.

Theresa Doumit with RCP (Roundup Community Partners) met with the Commissioners to give them the plans for the Welcome Kiosk bathrooms. All agreed the bathrooms should be against the alley.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the Encroachment permit for Section 31, T-8-N, R-31-E, Pine View Road submitted by Tom Shanahan. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to accept the bid from Hardrives Construction, Inc. for the Old Divide/#4 Chip Seal Project for Coal Board Grant 0933 in the amount of $424,820.39. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve and sign the updated Drawdown #2 for the Farrell Street Bridge replacement Project MT-CB-CG-19-0865 in the amount of $372,498.90. (This Drawdown was originally done on March 7, 2022 business but the amount was incorrect at $372,453.00) Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the bid of $5,000.00 submitted by Toby Dahl for cutting trees in the County ROW on Chandler and Casey Roads. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business Commissioner Turley made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There was no Road Department Meeting on Monday April 18, 2022.
