The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Pancratz were present.
April 20, 2022 Commissioner Goffena and Commissioner Turley met with Aaron Redland from WWC Engineering to discuss some ARPA projects and how to figure out what projects are eligible for the funds. Ms. Redland will do some research and get back to us.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the agenda as is. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the April 15, 2022 meeting minutes as written. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Turley attended the Election Judge training on April 19, 2022.
There were no other Board meetings.
There will be a Black Mountain training on May 18 & 19, 2022. Payroll and accounting will be participating and Commissioner Pancratz would like to attend.
Maintenance Supervisor Jett gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. They are going to be putting up “No Trespassing” sign in the front yard of the Courthouse to keep people off of the Teddy Blue Abbott Monument. Trespassers will be prosecuted. The Roundup Community Partners bench will be place in the north front yard of the Courthouse this week.
Justice of the Peace Marking met with the Commissioners to discuss the Interlocal Agreement for Court Services with Musselshell County. There will be a meeting sometime before July 1, 2022 to discuss the issue. Mr. Marking would like the Commissioners to get water from the Water Authority Project to the Airport.
Sheriff Lesnik gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. They discussed the Public Meeting scheduled for May 9, 2022 with the City regarding the Interlocal Agreement for Sheriff Services.
DES Director Russell and Coordinator Rook gave their weekly report to the Commissioners. The ARPA report was submitted and excepted. One person called in about a floodplain permit they were referred to the Administrator. Mr. Russell is going to check in on a CFPC grant (Cooperative Fire Protection Capacity) that may help with funding the fire wardens, and possibly help pay fire chiefs. There was 1 new address this week. The mapping plotter is now fixed. There are 2 active COVID cases in Musselshell County.
Kathy Thompson with Stahly Engineering and Theresa Doumitt met with the Commissioners to go over the possibilities for the ARPA Funds. The Commissioner s would like clarification on what funds are available, what projected are eligible. They would like to know which funds will need a match and if these funds are able to be used as the match.
John Albert came in with a new bid for the storage building for the mower at Handle Park.
CFO Kirk and Treasurer Hetrick met with the Commissioner to go over the weekly reports.
There was no public comment on several Budget Amendments that are to be on the agenda Friday April 29, 2022
There was no public comment for the 3:00 business.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to table item #2- to Appoint a Consumer Representative and Commissioner Representative for the Area 2 Agency on Aging for 2022/2023 until they find a willing resident. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the Encroachment permit for an approach in Section 23, T-6-N, R-26-E, Old Divide Road submitted by Gerald & Paulina Shapiro. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Monty Sealey met with the Commissioner regarding the Montana Water Authority Project. Mr. Sealey will contact residents in the Roundup Mesa Subdivision Area to see if they would want to for a Water District to participate.
There being no further business the motion was made to adjourn. Motion carried.
