The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Turley.  Commissioner Pancratz and Commissioner Goffena were present.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Goffena made the motion to approve the agenda for the day. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the minutes from the December 15, 2023 meeting as written. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to sign the Agreement with RiverStone Health for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Goffena attended the Opioid meeting on Tuesday December 19, 2023 and the Commissioners need to appoint someone to be on the District 3 Committee and then do a resolution.

Commissioner Turley attended the Bull Mountain Land Owners Association meeting. They are monitoring their wells for mine expansion.

Commissioner Pancratz and Commissioner Goffena attended the Snowy Mountain Development (SMDC) Board meeting on Thursday December 21, 2023 in Lewistown. Mayor Jones entered the meeting. Mayor Jones thought the meeting was great. Dan Clark from MSU was a speaker. The Commissioner think SMDC is a great tool for community growth with great vision and direction.

Mayor Jones wanted the Commissioners input on the ordinance they are working on regarding street parking of recreational vehicles. She is also concerned about the 9th circuit ruling regarding homeless and gave the Commissioners the Montana Annotated Code regarding homeless.

Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert visited with the Commissioners. Mr. Stockert needs the information to reach Cop Construction regarding the pipes on Golf Course Road that are laying on the County right of way.

Sheriff Lesnik gave his weekly report to the Commissioners.  He is having an issue with Black Mountain and time cards.

County Attorney Larsen visited with the Commissioners on a few issues.

There being no further business Commissioner Goffena made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.
