The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Turley. Commissioner Pancratz and Commissioner Goffena were present.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to approve the agenda for the day. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the minutes from the December 22, 2023 meeting as written. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Public comment:
Theresa Doumitt met with the Commissioner via GoTomeeting to find out when the Commissioners want to do a final walk through of the Welcome Center Kiosk? The walk through will be Friday January 5, 2024 at 9:15 A.M. The invoices for the project were also discussed.

Commissioner Goffena made the motion to sign the Invoice for DNRC/ Judith Rural Water Project Phase 4 Grant agreement AM-23-0192 submitted by GreatWest Engineering. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve and sign Work Order #7 for the General Services Agreement for Engineering Planning Services submitted by WWC. Engineering. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to appoint Nicole Borner to the Snowy Mountain Development Board. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to appoint Mike Goffena to the District 3 Opioid Committee. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Turley attended a Refuse meeting with the County Attorney.
Commissioner Turley attended an inspection of the Hitching Post building.
Commissioner Turley stopped by the Montana Department of Transportation office in Lewistown to thank them for meeting with the Commissioners and Mayor Jones regarding road maintenance between the State, City and County.
County Agent Solf gave her report to the Commissioners. The last session of the Ag Legacy Series is Jan., 10, 2024. The South-Central Ag Tour is Jan 30, 2024 in Lavina. Safe Serve training is the first week of Feb. 2023.
The County Attorney visited with the Commissioners.
Ambulance Director Solberg gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. The new phone system has been delayed until possibly the first of February. The County website was discussed.
Dave Ponte with the Middle Musselshell County Water District met with the Commissioners regarding the December 8, 2023 minutes. The minutes said they asked about using left over PER funds to help with Attorney fees. Mr. Ponte wanted it clarified that they asked if the left-over funds could be used to help with grants.
There being no further business Commissioner Goffena made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
