December 27, 2021 Road meeting.

Commissioner Goffena, Commissioner Turley and Road Secretary Kenner were present.

They will be starting the foundation for the equipment shed with Ray Construction. There will be a Letter of Commitment to Paul Goffena for the old railroad ROW exchange. They are checking for drifts in the eastern district, setting up the seconded snow plow clearing, Johnson, Camp Three, County lots and checking pavement for snow an ice.

 

December 30, 2021

The meeting was called t order at 8:30 by Commissioner Goffena.  Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Pancratz were present.

Pledge of allegiance.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the agenda after adding to sign Resolution 2021-45 to approve Musselshell County joining the District Central Montana Health District.  Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion as amended.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the minutes from the December 23, 2021 meeting as is.  Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Goffena attended the Central Montana Health District meeting in Lewistown.  The 5 Counties voted to join the District and sign a contract with Onehealth.  Fergus County has left the District and is giving them $150,000.00 to get started. Judith Basin will be the hub.  They are still working on the assets that the District had when Fergus was a part of it.

There will be a resolution for where the Commissioners are intending to spend some of the ARPA (American Recovery Rescue Plan) money the County received on Friday January 14, 2022.

Commissioner Turley attended the Refuse meeting on December 28, 2021.  They are solid on their budget and the new employee from Republic is doing well.

DES Director Russell gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. They are going to be applying for an AFG (Assistance to Firefighters Grant) for UTV’s for firefighters to be able to get in and out of hard locations. There were 80 fire incidents as of year-end.  There are still only 3 active COVID cases in Musselshell County.

CFO Kirk met with the Commissioners to go over the AFR (Annual Financial Report)

Public Auction on County owned property.  No attendees.

Public comment:

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve and sign Resolution 2021-45 where Musselshell County agrees to enter into a restate agreement to Central Montana Health District. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

There being no further business, Commissioner Turley made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion.  Motion carried.
