The meeting for the Road Department was opened at 8:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Turley was also present.
Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert and Secretary Kenner were present. DES Coordinator will be signing off on the Farrell Bridge replacement process. Mr. Stockert wanted to know, since they are going to be having the quarterly Department Head meetings on Fridays, is he going to be excused from the mandatory meeting? Commissioner Goffena said yes. Mr. Stockert will make sure the Commissioners have a report from the Road Department. The emergency generators need to have the monthly maintenance done. The Commissioners will let DES Coordinator Harper know. The 2010 Volvo truck is a lemon with many breakdowns. They are going to figure out what to do with it. There were concerns from residents on Dean Creek about Amish on the roads. Signs have been put up. Commissioner Goffena and Commissioner Turley went with Supervisor Stockert to look at roads for the day.
