The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Turley. Commissioner Pancratz and Commissioner Goffena were present. Minutes were done by Garilynn Rapp.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the agenda as is. Commissioner Goffena seconded. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to approve the Minutes from February 2nd. Commissioner Turley seconded. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to approve the Minutes from February 9th. Commissioner Turley seconded. Motion carried.

Commissioner Pancratz made a motion to sign Agreement with Safetytech for the Abatement of the Arena property. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to sign the Statement of Completion for the Musselshell Judith basin Water Project Phase 4 AM-23-0192 for $138,000.00 Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made a motion to Review and sign the Final Certificate of Compliance for the Musselshell Judith basin Water Project Phase 4 AM-23-0192. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made a motion to Review and sign the Interlocal Agreement between Musselshell County and Golden Valley County for the Joint Maintenance for Homestead Road. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz attended the Snowy Mountain Board Meeting on February 15th. They divided the board into committees, government funds and support compliance. The Goal Statement for each board is due by April. They are looking for The Board to give Council direction.
The Commissioners did claims on 2/14/2024 in the amount of $88,233.48.
Old Business Reviewed, Thimble Expansion still working on drawings from the architect.
County Agent Solf met with the Commissioners. She reviewed the Sponsorship opportunities available for local businesses to Sponsor a goat, sheep, or swine Pen for 4-H. Pen Sponsorship is $700.
Sheriff Lesnik gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. He reviewed The Sheriff’s Office’s 2023 Overview. The Department received 3,902 calls for service. Out of those calls 407 turned into criminal cases. The Department had 10 DUI’s, 37 Domestic Calls, 47 Assault, 105 Fire, 36 Corner calls and 28 Criminal Mischief calls. So far this year, 2024, the Department has received 257 Service calls compared to the same date last year of 80. Sheriff Lesnik reviewed an HR Issue with the Commissioners.
County Attorney Larsen met with the Commissioners.
DES Director Justin Russell and DES Coordinator Darren Rook gave their update to the Commissioners. They discussed the construction of the East Repeater Site; they are expecting 100% reimbursement from the State for the project. The Signal Peak Obligation for the bleed kits has been met. Their application for the DNRC Grant has been accepted, they will be receiving the Grant on March 5th at the Hilton in Billings. Letters have been sent to all property owners in the Flood Zone with the next meeting date.
MACO and Mayor Jones met with the Commissioners to discuss Grant Funds, Housing Programs and Economically Impacted Disaster Loans and Homes on the Range.
Pam Walling with MACO employee insurance reviewed renewal rates for the next year will increase by 18%.
There being no further business Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
