The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Turley.  Commissioner Pancratz and Commissioner Goffena were present. Minutes were taken by Garilynn Rapp.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the agenda as is.  Commissioner Pancratz seconded. Motion carried.

Minutes from February 2nd to be approved on February 16th, 2024.

No Public Comment.

Commissioner Goffena made a motion to sign the Letter to the District 6 Human Resources Development Councils 2024-2025 Community Services Block Grant. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to sign the Memorandum of Agreement Between pass Through Subrecipient and Third Party Subrecipient for the Musselshell Community Water and Sewer District. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Commissioner Turley made a motion to table the signing of the Agreement with Safetytech for the Abatement of the Arena property. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.

All Commissioners attended a zoom meeting with Snowy Mountain to discuss the Wier Furniture building.

All Commissioners attended the RPC Meeting at the Ambulance Barn on Tuesday February 6th, 2024. They reviewed everything that is happening in the community of Roundup.

Commissioner Goffena attended the Petroleum Tank Release Committee Meeting, they reviewed the Farmers Union Property and if time will allow additional options as the contaminant is near the threshold.

All Commissioners had a phone call with Nancy at MACO to review county spending and appropriations. Additionally, they discussed asbestos being remediated using the Brownfields Program to stimulate local growth.

County Attorney Larsen visited with the Commissioners. They discussed the County purchase of the Wier Furniture Building.

Sheriff Lesnik gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. The Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with recent burglaries. The office has had issues with their computer system since the recent update. Central Square issues are improving.

CFO Kirk updated the Commissioners on the audit, she is getting all requested information and documentation.

DES Director Justin Russell and DES Coordinator Darren Rook gave their update to the Commissioners. The Dept has received signs and will be getting them installed. Fire Warden is issuing burn permits.

Treasurer Hetrick updated the Commissioners on the County Funds invested.

There being no further business Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion.  Motion carried.
