January 10, 2022 Road Department meeting.
Commissioner Goffena, Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert and Secretary Kenner were present.
Ms. Kenner reported they have received the 2021 first half of their Coal Board Gross proceeds in the amount of $74,855.38. The plowing of Airport Road was discussed and they will bill the Airport Board annually. The Road Department will need letters of commitment from the landowners that are removing their irrigation ditch for the Goffena Road replacement project. The 2021 road report was submitted. Mr. Stockert attended the final walk through for the Farrell Street Bridge replacement project. The Commissioner signed the Certificate of Substantial Completion for the project. They have been burning a few slash piles, annual inspections and clearing roads of drifts.
January 14, 2022
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Pancratz were present.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the agenda for the day as is. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the January 7, 2022 minutes as written. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena attended a Central Montana Health District meeting and a School Board meeting.
Auditor Bob Denning and Treasurer Hetrick met with the Commissioners to go over the plan for meetings with CFO Kirk for the day.
Maintenance Supervisor Jett gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. Ms. Jett will be taking a vacation in February. There is an issue with the electric in the Victim Witness Advocate Office.
County Agent Solf gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. The first Roundup Small Acreage workshop went well. At the end of March there will be a 4H Recreation Lab in Hobson. The 2022 4H Fair preparation is starting. A tree fell on a part of the baseball fence at the fairgrounds. Key insurance will be contacted to see if it would be covered.
Sheriff Lesnik gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. A patrol car and the High School were vandalized. They discussed the Interoffice Agreement with the City.
DES Director Russell and Coordinator Rook gave their weekly report to the Commissioners. They are having issues with the SAMS number and logging in. All departments are going to have to get their own SAMS number if they are going to apply for grants. There was 1 address this week. There are 14 active COVID cases in Musselshell County.
Department Head Meeting.
Ambulance Director Solberg met with the Commissioners. The window in the new ambulance was broken and is being repaired.
Auditor Denning, CFO Kirk, Clerk & Recorder Tomassi and Treasurer Hetrick met with the Commissioners to go over budget issues.
There was no public comment on the Resolution for ARPA spending.
Public Comment.
Deb Adolph called in regarding the GoToMeeting site being not available all the time. Ms. Adolph suggest taking it off of the website if it’s not going to be available and getting a new system for joining meetings when there are questions or concerns. Commissioner Goffena told her that they are going to get more training on the system and she is always welcome to call in with any questions or concerns. Ms. Adolph also asked about the resolutions from the January 7th 2022 meeting and if there were any changes with meeting times? There were no changes in meeting times from the previous year, just the yearly required resolutions.
Monty Sealey joined the meeting and discussed easements for the water project.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to sign Resolution 2022-4 establishing travel and meal reimbursement rates for County employees. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to Approve and sign the Contract with OneHealth to be a part of the Central Montana Health District. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to sign Resolution 2022-8 Establishing where the ARPA funds will be spent. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to sign the Agreement to the Central Montana Water Authority for use of ARPA funds. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business Commissioner Turley made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
