The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Pancratz were present.

There was not a Road Department meeting this week.

Pledge of allegiance.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the agenda for the day as is. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the January 14, 2022 Commissioner Meeting and Department Head Meeting minutes as written. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Goffena attended a Council on aging meeting Tuesday January 18, 2022. It is time to renew their lease agreement.  It will be on the agenda Friday January 28, 2022. Jolene Pryor is the new Chairman.  The next meeting will be February 22, 2022.

Maintenance Supervisor Jett gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. Assistant Labenze was also present. Ms. Jett wanted the Commissioners to know that Mr. Labenze jammed his thumb but would not fill out a report.  He assured the Commissioners he was fine and would fill out a report if it happened again.

Clerk & Recorder Tomassi met with the Commissioners about the County property that will be auctioned again.  The auction will be on February 11, 2022 at 2:00 on the Courthouse steps. The Commissioners will be asking $5,000.00.

County Agent Solf gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. The final Small Acreage will be Wednesday January 26th, 2022. The first Estate Planning Workshop went well. The next one will be Tuesday January 25, 2022 and they will be discussing joint tenancy and valuables. Ms. Solf and Fire Warden Russell have been talking about having a fire fighter training on cutting down some trees at the fairgrounds. Ms. Solf will have her performance review on January 26, 2022.

DES Director Russell and Coordinator Rook gave their weekly report to the Commissioners. There are still issues with the SAMS numbers. There was 1 new address this week. The GIS map is being worked on. Three townships were completed. There are 19 active COVID cases in Musselshell County.

Ambulance Director Solberg gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. There is a phone company that is going to send ideas and estimates for a new system for the County offices. Once we have an idea we will go out for bids. Accounts receivable were given to the Commissioners.

CFO Kirk met with the Commissioner’s to discuss budgets.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to table Item #1, to Review and sign the Final Close Out Report for AIP 3-30-0066-15-2020 submitted by Interstate Engineering because they did not have the report. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to sign the Letter of Support for the Musselshell Valley Community Foundation-Roundup Independence Days Extravaganza’s Recovery Destination Event Grant Proposal for the 17th Annual RIDE. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Steve Aldinger with Interstate Engineering met with the Commissioners to go over the Airport final closeout report for AIP 3-30-0066-15-2020 Pavement Rehabilitation. The Final Closeout papers were signed by Commissioner Goffena.

There being no further business, Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

All Commissioners were in on January 20, 2022 to do the second run of claims for the month.

Claims for the seconded run of January 2022 = $90,328.96
