The meeting was called to order at 8:40 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Pancratz were present.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the day’s agenda as is. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the June 17, 2022 minutes as written. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Goffena and Commissioner Pancratz attended the Fair Board meeting on June 21 at the fairgrounds. The Roundup Rodeo event insurance was discussed.

Sheriff Lesnik was absent due to a training class in Missoula.

CFO Kirk and Commissioner Turley met with County Attorney Peterson to review the budget.

County Agent Solf gave her weekly report to the Commissioners.  An insurance quote from Roundup Rodeo was submitted to the Commissioners. Ms. Solf is going to meet with CFO Kirk to add a line item to her budget for insurance. Ms. Solf is going to talk to Sheriff Lesnik about law enforcement patrolling the arena area occasionally if they do an “open riding” day a few times a week. There will “equestrian laws” and “open riding rules” signs made for the area also.

DES Director Russell, DES Coordinator Rook and Rural Addressing Assistant Gomez gave their weekly report to the Commissioners.   Flood Plain Administrator Vanessa Hoene was given the update flooding guidance information. Gravel pit certifications have been updated on the flooding guide also.  They have received the radios and hand-held radios for fire vehicles that were purchased with ARPA funds. The brand-new chainsaw and accessories were stolen from the Roundup Fire Hall. They are working on new security.  Mr. Rook has completed and submitted the school security grant. They will be looking into cyber security options. There were 3 new addresses this week. Mr. Gomez has done 3 new sign installs, 5 retro fits and 35 address verifications. There are 3 active COVID cases in Musselshell County. 2340 cases State wide.

Ambulance Director Solberg gave his weekly report to the Commissioners.  Mr. Solberg sent all the information gathered to Morrison & Maierle regarding Cyber Insurance.

There was no public comment.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to appoint Dominique Kovar to the Fair Board. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to sign the Service Provider Designation Form submitted by the Department of Public Health and Human Services. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

There being no further business Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Monday June 27, 2022 Road meeting.

Commissioner Goffena and Commissioner Turley went on a tour of some County Roads with Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert.
