The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Turley was present.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the agenda for the day as is. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the minutes from May 25 & June 1, 2021 as is. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Pancratz joined the meeting.

Commissioner Turley attended the Hospital Board meeting Thursday June 3, 2021. There is a concern that Musselshell County has the lowest % of COVID-19 vaccines in the State of Montana and Hospital visitation is becoming an issue. The hospital was been under performance reviews and everyone has passed.  They have upgraded the CT scanner. The trauma center is one of the best in the State for the size of our community.  Commissioner Turley said it was all positive.

Commissioner Goffena attended a Fire Council meeting Thursday June 3, 2021. 4 of the 6 department chiefs were there. Fire Warden Russell had a question that needs to go before the auditor regarding the annual RFC funds and where they should go to be in compliance, to the council or a little to each department?

Helen Hougen with the Elected Official Salary Compensation Board met with the Commissioners to discuss the procedure and give her opinion for next Fridays meeting that she will not be able to attend.

DES Coordinator Harper and fire Warden Russell gave their weekly reports to the Commissioners.  All the permits required for the Floodplain Administrator to issue the Floodplain permit for the Farrell Street Bridge Project have been received. Burning is now closed. The doors are being fixed for the firetruck garage at the Extension office.  There were 4 new addresses last week and 2 more are pending. Road signs are being worked on when able. The EMPG Funding Commitment Letter will be signed at the 3:00 business.

County Agent Solf gave her weekly report to the Commissioner. There is going to be a Mineral Nutrition Program for Cows on June 8, 2021. There is a Ranch Rodeo Saturday June 5, 2021 at the Fairgrounds starting at 2:00. There are 30 entries for the Open Fair. They have been having Farmers Market Committee meeting and there will be a market every other Wednesday from 5 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at the South end of Main Street starting July 7, 2021.

CFO Kirk and Clerk & Recorder Tomassi met with the Commissioners to discuss the end of year budgets.

Public Comment:

There was no public comment.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to table approving and signing the updated EMPG funding Commitment Letter, until they had the actual letter. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

There being no further business Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to adjourn.  Commissioner Turley seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Commissioner Goffena and Commissioner Turley and CFO Kirk did claims on Thursday June 3, 2021.
