The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Pancratz were present.

On May 12, 2021 the Commissioners met with John Husar with Musselshell Renewable Resources to discuss a proposed wind farm North of Roundup.

On May 13, 2021 the Commissioners met with Bette Ross and Brad Marking to discuss the 4th of July Event.

Tyler Lindbloom with Interstate Engineering met with the Commissioners to go over the work done last week and the work to be done this week at the Airport. Steve Studder with Knife River was present via zoom and also John Bach and Steve Aldinger from Interstate Engineering via zoom. They have 7 ½ days to get the project completed. They milled and repaved the dip in the runway, straight wedged the runways, grinded seams between paving passes, picked rocks along runway and edges and backfilled electrical trenches and settlement areas. There was no additional mix so the hanger approaches will not be paved. The Commissioners will attend the Final Inspection May 25, 2021.

The Commissioners, Chief Financial Officer Kirk and Clerk & Recorder Tomassi Met with several Department Heads to go over their preliminary budgets.

Monday May 17, 2021 Road Department meeting.

Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert and Secretary Kenner gave their weekly report to the Commissioners. Commissioner Goffena and Commissioner Turley were present.

Mr. Stockert checked with MDT and the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program regarding the Goulding Creek rehabilitations. Due to the functional reclassification, they plan to have this project ready late this fall so it will be ready to construct next spring/summer. Goffena bridge is scheduled for 2024. Musselshell Valley Equipment is getting the tractor rental agreement back this year so they will be able to run 2 mowers. They submitted the 5 ways a road can become a County road. Blading was done on Queens Point, Horsethief, Ragged point, Grazing District, Hochmuth, Downs Old & West Musselshell, Homestead, Goffena, Dean Creek and Mosby. Lots of trees removed on East parrot Creek. There were concerns received about Beavers damming up a culvert on Fishel Creek off of S. Musselshell Road. They have landowners’ consent to get the water moving.
