Resolution 2020-12

A Resolution Amending Resolution 2020-7 describing the county wide open burning permit adopting new permit  terms number (2).

WHEREAS, section 7-33-2205 Montana Code Annotated, provides for the establishment of fire season; and

WHEREAS, section 76-13-121Montana Code Annotated, provides for a Permit for burning where required; and

WHEREAS, section 7-33-2205 Montana Code Annotated, provides for Violation of open burning;

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE FOLLOWING REGULATIONS SHALL GOVERN OPEN BURNING PERMITS:

  1. That the permit process be monitored by the Musselshell County Disaster and Emergency Services Director/County Fire Warden as a point of contact:
  2. A permit  application is adopted for a term of (1) years, with a call or signing into the State permit system required each day for ignition.
  3. The permitted individual has read,signed,and understands the requirements,liabilities,and judiciary responsibilities for their actions.
